Consent to Electronic Communication

Please review and keep a copy for your records.

By agreeing to this consent, you are authorizing Across The Bridge to send, and you to receive, review, and sign all documents related to your scholarship application or account electronically. This electronic signature is legally binding under the E-SIGN Act and UETA.

1. Requirements

To receive Communications, you must have:

  • A valid email account.
  • A computer or mobile device with internet access.
  • A recent, JavaScript-enabled browser (Chrome, IE, Safari, or Firefox) supporting 256-bit encryption.
  • Sufficient storage and the ability to access HTML, PNG, and PDF files (using Adobe Acrobat Reader).

2. Delivery and Contact

Delivery: We will send Communications via email, by posting them in your online account, or on our website (with an email link notification). Updates: You must notify us immediately if your email address changes. If emails fail for legally required documents (e.g., IRS Form 1098-E), we will use your postal address. Contact the affiliate directly if they service your account.

3. Paper Copies and Withdrawal

Paper Copies: You may print Communications yourself or request a paper copy from us. This is usually free, unless the request is large. Requesting a paper copy does not withdraw your consent.

Withdrawal: You can withdraw consent at any time at no cost to receive only future paper copies. To withdraw, sign into your online account or contact us at team@bridgeendowment.org or via phone.

4. Confirmation

By consenting, you confirm that you understand this agreement and have the required hardware and software to receive Communications electronically now and in the future.
